One of the lovely things about staying at FiftyFiveFathoms is having two acres of fully fenced green space for our guests to explore, play in and enjoy, just 150 yards from the cottage.
There’s plenty of room for children to run free, play ball games and explore, with willow dens to discover, a picnic table for family lunches, and mown paths winding through the beautiful wildflower meadow.
And for your four-legged family members, it’s a real bonus - a safe, enclosed space where dogs can stretch their legs, sniff, explore and enjoy some off-lead freedom.
So, whether it’s an early morning dog walk, a game of football before breakfast, an impromptu picnic, or simply letting the children disappear off to explore, the field on your doorstep gives everyone a little more space, freedom, and outdoor adventure.
No need for the car - it's just an easy, flat, two minute walk from your front door!
